Cookies & browser storage

Supabase authentication cookies keep you signed in and refresh your session. The application currently ends sessions after 24 hours. A session-storage support token lets this browser retrieve its own support conversation. A local-storage notice preference remembers that you dismissed the privacy notice. Language is selected by the URL, including /ar for Arabic.

You can clear cookies and storage in your browser settings. Doing so can sign you out, show the notice again or prevent you from reopening a support conversation. Clearing browser storage does not itself delete account or support records from the database; email us for a deletion request.

PLATES counts visits with its own server. No cookie, local storage or identifier is placed on your device for this. Each visit gets an anonymous one-day code, and the key behind it is deleted at the end of the day, so you cannot be followed from one day to the next. A browser that sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control is not counted.

If optional analytics or advertising technologies are introduced, we will update this notice and provide any legally required consent controls before activating them. Dismissing the current informational notice is not consent to future tracking.
