Fees, promotion days & refunds

You can publish and edit a standard listing at any asking price without a PLATES listing fee. There is no surcharge for raising the asking price and no PLATES commission on the sale under the current service.

A wanted request costs BHD 0.500 and is published for 30 days only after the payment provider confirms payment. The fee is refundable if payment was captured but the request was not published because of a PLATES technical failure. Once the request is published, the posting fee is non-refundable, including if you close it early or find a plate elsewhere.

Dealer plans and featured packages cannot currently be purchased online. Test records created while their gateway was a stub are not payments, invoices or debts and will not be charged later.

A promotional-day balance measures days of extra visibility, not money. Free days cannot be cashed out or used as BHD credit. A seller may redeem the available days against an eligible active listing. Visibility does not guarantee a buyer or a sale. Any adjustments for an early sale are made in days according to the account’s promotion record.

The buyer pays the seller outside PLATES. We cannot refund funds we did not receive. Agree on transfer fees and sale terms directly, and report suspected fraud to the appropriate authorities. Contact us about inaccurate promotion-day balances or anything presented as a PLATES charge. Nothing in this policy removes mandatory legal rights.
