Private or truck?
PLATES accepts private numbers with 4–6 digits and truck or motorcycle numbers with 3–6 digits. Choose the category shown on your vehicle documents. Each category is evaluated using its own market data.
Colour and vehicle use
Truck plates have different classifications. The Ministry of Transportation’s airport goods-transport notice distinguishes orange and yellow plates and the licensing needed for that activity. A plate colour alone does not authorize commercial work.
Keep the plate readable
Do not obscure or alter the official plate details. Bahrain’s Traffic Law prohibits changing, defacing or concealing plate information.
